(MLB) Milwaukee vs. Cincinnati, 06/10/2021 12:35 PM, Score: 7 - 2
Total: 8.50 | -106.00 Under
Result: Loss
I'm playing on Cincinnati/Milwaukee UNDER the total. Peralta has been outstanding all season (6-1, 2.25 ERA, 0.88 WHIP) and he's showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, last time out, he came within five outs of throwing a no-hitter. Over his last two starts, he's given up just two runs in 14 1/3 innings. One run in seven innings and one run in 7 1/3 innings. Not surprisingly, both games stayed below the total, final scores of 5-1 and 4-1. Castillo's overall numbers aren't good this season. However, he reminded everyone last time out that he's still a good pitcher. He went six innings, allowing three hits and one run, while picking up his first win in a couple of months. That's the type of performance he can take positive momentum from. Note that he reportedly gained some velocity on his sinker in that start, a welcome sign. These same two starters once (2019) went pitch-for--pitch in a 1-0 pitcher's duel. With both starters coming in confident, I say this one proves lower-scoring than many will be expecting.
