Burnley will be trying to play spoiler here. They too are in decent form, having won three of four in Premier League play. But those three wins have come against the Wolves, Crystal Palace and Sheffield United, all bottom of the table teams. The big issue this season for Burnley - and why they are still in 16th position - is that they have tallied only nine goals in 15 matches. That’s the second fewest in the EPL, only one ahead of relegation-bound Sheffield United.
Though they were on the pitch Saturday in FA Cup action, Burnley is relatively fresh here as their last scheduled EPL encounter (Jan 3 vs. Fulham) was postponed (COVID). I do think we’re going to see them get on the scoresheet Tuesday. It’s almost been comical how low-scoring their matches have been thus far with just 29 total goals scored. The next fewest is Fulham with 36. Yes, some of it is due to Burnley having only played 15 matches, but they are long overdue for a “high-scoring affair''. United has scored 2+ goals in six of their last eight EPL matches, so they are the perfect “dance partner.” This one goes Over. 8* Over Manchester United/Burnley
