Stephen Nover's MLB Saturday Free Play
(MLB) Cleveland vs. Pittsburgh, 06/19/2021 4:05 PM, Score: 3 - 6
Money Line: -129.00 Cleveland (Away)
Result: Loss
The Pirates managed to end their 10-game losing streak on Friday, but they sure made it nerve-racking. Pittsburgh built a 10-run lead only to barely nip the Indians, 11-10.

Pittsburgh was averaging just 2.2 runs during its last 10 games before Friday's outburst. The Pirates are last in the majors in runs and homers.

I'll gladly fade the Pirates at this short price in a pitching matchup of Cal Quantrill, who has a 3.11 ERA, versus Pittsburgh's Will Crowe, who has a 6.75 ERA and has never won a big-league game. The Indians own the far superior bullpen.

Only two teams have a worse record than the Pirates. Pittsburgh has lost 40 of the past 59 times at home when meeting an above .500 opponent. Cleveland is nine games above .500. The Indians are 10-1 the last 11 times following a loss.

(Editor's note: Stephen Nover is 15-5 on his last 20 MLB premium side plays and is on a 71 percent hot streak on his NBA plays with his NBA Eastern Conference Game of the Month going today.)
