A's over Padres- Let me start by saying that I think this line is awful high considering all factors. San Diego starter Chris Paddack (6-6, 4.76 ERA) has been sharp of late as he isn 4-1 since June 13 but still has a 1.3 WHIP on the season and that's not so hot. Both clubs enter on losing notes as the Padres dropped their last two to Miami and the A's fell 3-straight to Seattle. Oakland will start James Kaprielian (5-3, 2.65) and he's been tough on batters allowing just 50 hits in 68 innings with 73 strikeouts. Take OAKLAND!
