Tampa Bay vs. L.A. Dodgers 8:08 ET
Dodgers over Rays- In a season like none other the teams with the best record from each league are meetings in the World Series the first time since 2003. These two got here by taking different roads as Tampa Bay went out to a 3-0 lead over Houston in the Championship series and then had to battle back in Game 7 after losing three straight to earn their berth in the series. The Dodgers took a different route finding themselves down 3-1 to rally with three straight wins in defeating Atlanta. This is LA's third WS appearance in the past four seasons and will start Clayton Kershaw (6-2, 2.16 ERA) who is 2-1 with a 3.32 ERA in three 2020 starts. The Rays will start Tyler Glasnow (5-1, 4.08) who is 2-1 with a 4.66 ERA in the postseason. At -210 for the series the action in Las Vegas is pouring in on the Dodgers as it should be with their MLB highest payroll of 95.6 million compared to the Rays who rank No. 28 with a 29.3 million payroll. The money really doesn't mean much in a battle such as this but the edge definitely goes to the Dodgers. Take LOS ANGELES!
